IDL 8.2

IDL (Interactive Data Language) is a commercial, array-oriented programming language and interactive environment for analyzing, visualizing, and processing large multidimensional datasets. Used widely in astronomy, remote sensing, medical imaging, and engineering, it provides rich libraries for mathematics, statistics, signal and image processing, and advanced 2D/3D/volume visualization. IDL supports rapid prototyping, batch workflows, and GUI development, and it interoperates with C, Fortran, and Python. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and integrates closely with ENVI for geospatial imagery workflows. IDL is proprietary software commonly licensed by research institutions, government agencies, and industry.

IDL is developed by ITT and is used by 11 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2. The names of program executable files are Bankai-SIPLink.exe, DigitalWaybill.exe, Icon1FB9E1DF.exe, IDL.exe and idlde.exe. Works with prc, prj, isv and pro file types.
